The Pantless DAO arose from the Mega Team, a fellowship founded on trust and community following the first Creature World airdrop. Creature holders were sent one of seven playground piece NFTs and asked to use teamwork to combine them into complete sets within a single wallet. Danny Cole asked participants to be creative in forming their teams, so Uncle Ether, who had initially formed three separate teams, combined them to form the Mega Team. From that genesis group of 19 people, the team soon grew to over 200 members. ๐Ÿ’ช

The creature playground event required trust when combining items into a single wallet. Some broke that trust by running off with their teamโ€™s playground pieces and selling them on the market. Not wanting anyone to be left behind, Uncle Ether invited victims who had lost playground pieces to join the Mega Team, promising to bring them along on the journey.

To keep his promise to scam victims who had joined the Mega Team without contributing a playground piece, Uncle Ether started a donation fund to secure the missing NFTs. With the Creature community circled round, and donations flooding in, the Mega Team was able to secure playground pieces for all 23 of the victims who had come to the team for help. No one was left behind. โค๏ธ

As the playground event began to wrap up, discussions turned to leveling up the Mega Team. The idea for Pantless DAO was born from those discussions. The team saw the DAO as a way to further its mission and to provide fractional ownership of creatures to the community, allowing more people to become part of the creature family. ๐Ÿค
